Reveal Patient Assistant
The Reveal® Patient Assistant is a hand-held device that helps the Reveal® Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM) capture your heart rhythms during a fainting episode. The Reveal Patient Assistant is about the size of a deck of cards.
When a fainting spell occurs, you or a family member place the Patient Assistant over your ICM and press the button. This triggers the ICM to record your heart rhythms and marks the place on the heart record when the fainting or symptoms occurred. You have several minutes to place the device over the monitor.
Your ICM will also record your heart rhythms automatically, even while you sleep.
