What to Expect in Surgery
The procedure for placing the Reveal® Insertable Cardiac Monitor is straightforward:
- The area where the ICM will be placed is numbed with a local anesthetic.
- A small incision is made.
- The monitor is inserted.
- You will be awake to communicate with the doctor and nurse.
The surgery will take approximately 30 minutes.
